I played the tropics today for the first time, wow nice course, they have put in a lot of work and are still working on fine tuning the course, it is a nice course, lots of challenges, water and bunkers. It was a good challenge and it was great to walk around the 18 holes. It was a great day to play and I will be back for sure. The staff are so fantastic and helpful with everything. Again thank you to the staff for helping me get on the course.
Beautiful course and friendly staff. Digital maps on the electric carts. Turtles at the 7th ladies tee, wallabies, and different winged creatures to enhance the serenity. I'd give it 5 stars but the only thing letting it down is no toilets on course. Makes for a distracting game after a couple beers 😅🍻 …
At the time we played they had cored the greens and a couple of temporary greens were in play. The fairways were good and the coarse is interesting and worth a visit. Plenty of water to navigate. It cost us $20 each for 18 holes(Monday special)..excellent. Staff very welcoming.

Course needs some TLC. Fairways are extremely dry and the greens are pretty slow. The tracks for the carts are very rough and the tees look unkept . I think it would be a better course after 3 inches of rain though.
For Townsville area good challenging course, loved the GPS system on the buggies. Super friendly and professional staff at the proshop.
The course is getting better & better - only has 2 temporary greens in play (both new greens look great and almost ready to play). Bunkers were much better before the rain. Great layout and staff

Such an enjoyable experience of challenging long holes, perfectly mown fairways and sensible rough that allows you to find your ball quickly but still remains a challenge.
The greens were true, even with a delicate and professional top dress. Very friendly and golf loving members.

Worst golf course in Townsville, paid to play 18 holes and had to duck home too to personal reasons and asked for a credit and the guy at the pro shop was so rude and disrespectful, then said I could have a credit of $9 but I had to wait until Monday to call up even though 18 holes is $49 and 9 holes is $30…DO NOT COME TO THIS COURSE they care more about money then the people wanting to play.
